When I started collecting swords over 20 years ago, there was not much information available, and good quality swords were very hard to find.

Now there are Chinese exporters, high end production companies, and online antique shops from around the world. It is now a much more accessible hobby, but there are also abundant fakes and reproductions of dubious quality.
