Tharp Armoury is Drew Tharp's personal collection of antique and reproduction swords. My goal is to bring the appreciation of the sword to future generations. I have consulted with sword makers such as CAS Iberia, Hanwei, and Museum Replicas on historical sword design and written articles on sword history and usage for the Sword Buyers Digest, Tactical Knives Illustrated, and the Journal of Asian Martial Arts. I have been practicing sword based martial arts for over 20 years and have a Certificate in Martial Arts from Indiana University. I serve as treasurer and assistant coach at the Indianapolis Fencing Club and practice Kendo with Gotokukan Imafuji Dojo. I am also a member of the Indiana Token Kai. When I'm not thinking about swords, I work at Roche Diagnostics Corporation and as an Adjunct Professor at IU Indianapolis.
